Meet our Veterinarians

Ben Korver, DVM

Practice Owner

Dr. Ben Korver grew up in northwest Iowa, where he spent his early years helping on the family farm— an experience that shaped his lifelong connection to animals. Dr. Ben earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Dordt University before graduating from Iowa State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Since then, he has cared for a wide variety of animals, both large and small. While he enjoys working with all species, his greatest passion lies in building meaningful relationships with the families he serves. As the new owner of NVC, Dr. Ben is dedicated to continuing the client-centered care that the practice has long been known for. In his time away from the clinic, you’ll find him spending time with Dr. Kacey and their three kids, as well as caring for their own critters at home- 2 dogs (Buck and Bogey), 2 cats (Reba and Poppy), and 13 chickens.

Kacey Korver, DVM

Practice Owner

Dr. Kacey Korver grew up in south central Iowa, where her love for animals started at a very young age. Through her childhood she dreamed of one day becoming a veterinarian and she chased that dream through veterinary school at Iowa State University, where she graduated in 2020. Since graduation, Dr. Kacey has worked in several areas of veterinary medicine- from mixed animal general practice, to emergency medicine, to shelter medicine. Though she’s enjoyed the many paths that the career has taken her, Dr. Kacey’s true passion lies in serving others and using her skills in veterinary medicine to help those in the community. She has a special interest in surgery, specifically orthopedic surgery and hopes to bring those services to the practice as well. When she’s not treating your pets, she enjoys being a mom of three, crafting, and writing children’s books.
