After nearly 30 years of dedicated service to the Norwalk community, Dr. Frank Dunham is retiring from Norwalk Veterinary Clinic, leaving behind a legacy that has touched countless pets, families, and generations of clients. In 1996, Dr. Dunham founded the practice by transforming the basement of his home into a fully functional veterinary clinic—building not only a full-service hospital, but a trusted business grounded in compassion, integrity, and service. Through decades of hard work, genuine care, and personal connection, he created a practice known not just for quality veterinary medicine, but for the relationships and trust he built with those he served.
As Norwalk Veterinary Clinic enters this next chapter, Dr. Ben Korver is deeply honored to carry forward the foundation Dr. Dunham established. Dr. Ben is committed to preserving the same client-centered, relationship-focused care that has long set this practice apart. While he brings his own passion, experience, and vision to the clinic, his mission remains rooted in the values that have always defined Norwalk Veterinary Clinic: serving people well while providing exceptional care for their animals. Dr. Ben looks forward to building lasting relationships with both current and future clients, continuing the tradition of trusted, privately owned veterinary care that this community has known for decades.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, we are making thoughtful updates to both the exterior and interior of our facility to maintain a welcoming space while improving how we serve our patients and clients each day. These changes are designed to support our continued growth, expand our ability to care for more pets and families, and prepare us for the future as we look ahead to an anticipated new facility build. As Norwalk Veterinary Clinic continues to grow, we are excited to introduce new services and advanced technology that will allow us to provide an even higher level of care for our patients.
New additions to our hospital include:
in-house bloodwork and expanded diagnostics for fast accessible answers
ultrasound technology to help us better diagnose and manage a wide variety of medical conditions.
advanced anesthesia monitoring to further enhance patient safety during procedures.
updated surgical instrumentation, including electrocautery and laser surgery, allowing for greater precision, reduced discomfort, and improved recovery in many procedures.
